Cold and flu season are upon us, but there are steps that you can take to keep your family healthy this winter and it all starts with good hand-washing habits. Sometimes, it’s easy to think of germs as out-of-site-out-of-mind and wind up skipping an important hand washing or two. This is when germs get spread. Take time to wash your hands after caring for someone else who is sick, touching items in public places, before and after using the restroom, before and after eating, and after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing and you’ll be well on your way to helping limit the spread of illness this winter.
